Introduction
Welcome to titleplus.lawyerdonedeal.com. This site is a web based delivery system; use it to order TitlePLUS title insurance policies for the purchase or refinance of new or resale residential freehold or condominium properties. You can complete your entire TitlePLUS title insurance policy application from this site, by simply working through the online application form.

Subscription Requirements
Before you can begin a TitlePLUS title insurance application on this website, you must be a TitlePLUS subscriber and have a valid LSUC/LAWPRO membership number and LAWPRO password.

Two Step Process:

1. Subscription Agreement
  If you are the first lawyer in your firm who wishes to sign up for the TitlePLUS program, complete a TitlePLUS Subscription Agreement and return it to us for processing: Subscription Agreement for Ontario or Subscription Agreement for all other Canadian jurisdictions, excluding Québec. Only lawyers in good standing are able to subscribe to the TitlePLUS program.

If other lawyers in your firm already subscribe to the TitlePLUS program, complete a TitlePLUS Subscription Amending Agreement and return it to us for processing: Subscription Amending Agreement for Ontario or Subscription Amending Agreement for all other Canadian jurisdictions, excluding Québec.

2. Payment Set-up & Accounting Procedure
  You must provide your accounting information to LAWPRO prior to using this site. As the applications are processed electronically, we require credit card or bank account information to provide for automatic debits. Please note that there is no alternative payment method available (e.g., cheques will not be accepted).

Once your agreement has been processed and approved, your area consultant will contact you to introduce him/herself and tell you more about our products and how to use them.

Technical Requirements
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader and Internet Explorer (version 8 or higher) in order to use this website.

Note: This website only supports Microsoft Windows XP (or higher) operating systems.

Eligible Transactions
You can use titleplus.lawyerdonedeal.com to complete TitlePLUS title insurance policy applications for the following types of transactions:

Purchase

  • New and resale houses, condominiums, cottages and residential rental properties (up to 6 units), rural and urban, with or without a mortgage, up to $5 million.
New Home Program and New Condo Select
  • New freehold and condominium homes, up to $5 million, which are located in one of our enrolled developments.
Mortgage-Only
  • Conventional, high ratio, line of credit/collateral, and construction mortgages, up to $5 million.
OwnerEXPRESS®
  • For existing homeowners of residential properties in Ontario, including: houses, condominiums, cottages, residential rental properties (up to 6 units), rural and vacant land (designated for residential use) with property values up to $5 million.
